Monday, September 30th is Season 38, Episode 11 of B&B.
If you remember on Friday, Taylor Hayes was up at Forrester Creations watching the lead singer of Cleo perform through the live stream in the office. But then she came downstairs, where they had been filming in that studio set, and she was kind of peeking at Ridge and Brooke together, watching them canoodle. They were talking about taking Brooke’s Bedroom back to the bedroom, and Taylor started having heart symptoms—heart palpitations—and then she collapsed.

We’re going to pick right back up from there on Monday’s episode, with Ridge Forrester in an absolute panic. He runs over to her, checking on her, having no idea anything is wrong, and she’s just collapsed. Ridge is trying to revive her, saying, “Taylor, Taylor, wake up!” I’m guessing they’ll call 911 because of the spoilers for the rest of this week.

Also on Monday, Will Spencer is talking to his mom, Katie Logan, telling her how he really feels about his dad, Bill Spencer. I can’t imagine it’s overwhelmingly positive news. That kid knows exactly what his dad has done—or at least has a good idea.

Tuesday, October 1st is Season 38, Episode 12.
Brooke Logan is reminding Steffy that Ridge wants her and is committed to her—not Taylor. At the same time, Ridge finds out that Taylor is suffering from heart failure, and he flips out. This could mean he called 911 and they took her to the hospital, or maybe she wakes up and tries to downplay it, but he forces her to tell him. I’m glad this whole secret illness thing isn’t dragging out for months like it did with Eric. I have to give the Bold writers credit for moving this plot along quickly, which is rare for them. Maybe it’s because Brad Bell wants to kill her off sooner than later—who knows?

Wednesday, October 2nd is Season 38, Episode 13.
Ridge is pressing Taylor, telling her she needs to get a second opinion, but she’s being very resistant. What’s crazy to me is that I don’t think Taylor even got a first opinion! She told Lee Finnegan she was having problems exercising and was out of breath. She spoke to her regular doctor, who listened to her heart and said she was dying of heart failure. But remember, Lee asked, “Have you seen a cardiologist?” and Taylor said no. You can’t go around telling people you’re dying of heart failure if you haven’t even seen a specialist! Ridge needs to drag her to the hospital, and it looks like that’s going to happen soon.

Thursday, October 3rd is Episode 14 of Season 38.
We’ve got a doctor we haven’t seen in a while—Dr. Grace Buckingham, Zoe and Paris’s mom, is back! It’s been, what, two years since we last saw her? Remember, her husband, Dr. Buckingham, is still in prison. Is Grace a cardiologist? I don’t remember, but it’s fine. Cassandra Creech is back, and it sounds like Ridge succeeded in getting Taylor to go for that second opinion. Dr. Grace is running tests on Taylor’s heart.

Later that same day, Bill Spencer opens up to his ex-wife, Katie, making himself emotionally vulnerable. That could be a good thing, but there’s more on that later this week.

Friday, October 4th is Season 38, Episode 15.
Taylor is skeptical of her diagnosis. I wonder if Dr. Buckingham gave her a completely different diagnosis and prognosis than her previous doctor. Taylor was told she’s dying of heart failure with no hope, but maybe Dr. Grace Buckingham says it’s heart failure, but they can do something—like get her on the transplant list. We’ll see.

Also on Friday, Katie talks to her big sister, Brooke Logan, about her fears. It looks like it’s about Bill and why she doesn’t want to rekindle things with him. I wonder if she’ll remind Brooke about overhearing Bill say that she would always be the love of his life. That devastated Katie because Bill made it clear that Brooke would always be the leading lady in his heart. After Brooke rejected him, Bill tried to recant and get Katie back, but she heard what he said. Why would she forget that and risk letting Bill back into her heart? I mean, he is hot, so there’s that!

We also have some undated spoilers for next week that were in the promo. Will Spencer tells Steffy that Forrester is exactly where he wants to be. Brooke and Katie are there, too, and Steffy asks, “Are you sure about that?” Will says, “Definitely.” Fans on soap social media are saying that Katie Logan had no right to offer her son a job at Forrester Creations—she’s not a Forrester or part of the executive team. We still don’t know if Will has a college degree, but that hardly matters on soaps!

The next spoiler is interesting. Carter is talking to Hope—they’re still in the design office. Remember, on Friday, he basically said he wants to see her in lingerie. Whoa! I suggested weeks ago that Carter might be the new man in Hope’s life, and I had people saying, “No way, Carter and Hope? Never!” Well, it’s happening. Carter asks, “Office romance?” Hope says, “Bad idea, never again.” Carter agrees, but it’s obviously happening. That’s fine by me if it means I get to see Lawrence St. Victor shirtless more often—yay!

Finally, in the promo, Eric Forrester is talking to his granddaughter, Steffy. He says Ridge cares deeply for her mother, and Steffy responds, “They’ll be connected until their very last breath.” She probably doesn’t realize her mother could be drawing her last breath pretty soon.
