Bold and Beautiful Early Spoilers Sept 30 – Oct 4: Hope Oversteps & Li Pushes Back
You’re reading to DrinkFood. Hey, B&B fans! I’ve got your Early Edition spoilers for September 30th through October 4th. It looks like Hope is in trouble, and Bridget is stepping up. It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt, and as we always do on Early Edition day, we start with what is happening the rest of this week on Bold and the Beautiful.
With that in mind, we start with the action on Wednesday, September 25th. We’ve got Bill and Katie talking about the future. You guys know how it goes on B&B, where they repeat the same conversation over and over all week long, sometimes for two weeks. I feel like this is going to be more of the same, but we also have a scene from the promo with Bill sitting with both Katie and Will at Casa de Spencer. Bill is saying he needs them with him on this, and it’s about reuniting as a family. That scene should come either Wednesday or Thursday, and I’d like to see them move forward, just to slam the door on Poppy. I’d like to see the last of her in Bill’s life.
We should also have more of Lee and Finn’s chat about her mystery patient, who is really his mother-in-law. Lee asks Finn, “If it were somebody in your family who was dying and they wanted to keep it a secret, wouldn’t you want to know?” Finn’s response, of course, is that he absolutely would want to know. But Lee’s not technically Taylor’s doctor, so there’s no doctor-patient confidentiality. Still, they’re friends, in-laws, and grandmas to each other’s kids, so it’s complicated.
There are very few spoilers for Wednesday—they went light this week—but I expect more of Ridge and Brooke chatting about Taylor’s return.
Thursday, September 26th
On Thursday, Will is talking with Katie and Bill, so the scene from the promo may happen on Thursday. He’s trying to understand why his parents aren’t together. The short version: his dad can’t keep his pants zipped around Aunt Brooke! Katie is understandably wary of reuniting because even though Brooke is with Ridge right now, things can always change. Brooke has been the object of Bill’s desire, and he’s made it clear she’s his soulmate. I doubt they’ll tell Will the whole story, but wouldn’t it be funny if he figured it out himself?
Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Steffy and Hope are at each other’s throats again, as they always are when they share a room. This time, the back-and-forth is about Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor’s return. Steffy will likely defend Taylor staying in town, while Hope will say Brooke belongs with Ridge. I think Hope might sass Steffy about accusing her of breaking up her marriage while also wanting her mom to interfere with Brooke and Ridge.
Friday, September 27th
At Forrester Creations, there’s a big Brooke’s Bedroom event. Jökull Júlíusson, the Icelandic lead singer of Kaleo, is performing his hit song “Way Down We Go”. If you haven’t heard it, you should give it a listen, or wait to see it on the show! Finn and Hope are fans of Jökull, which triggers a bonding moment that Steffy won’t appreciate. Finn’s already told Steffy he’s loyal to her, but this commonality with Hope is a big deal to her.
On top of that, Bridget Forrester is also a fan of Kaleo and is back for the event. Taylor, meanwhile, is watching the live stream (or maybe she’s actually there, hiding backstage), and it causes her distress. There’s a promo photo showing Taylor behind a curtain, so we’ll see what happens.
There’s also a scene in the promo where Taylor is in the CEO office, telling Brooke and Ridge that she’s happy they’re together. This could play out earlier in the week, but Taylor’s distress seems tied to the fact that she feels she has little to look forward to.
Week of September 30th to October 4th
Going into next week, Bill and Katie continue circling each other. If they’re going to reunite, I wish they’d get on with it! Katie needs to lock him down, especially with Taylor back and supposedly dying. If Brooke winds up single again, Bill might be back in her orbit.
Steffy’s anger over Finn and Hope’s fan bonding could push Hope into dating someone new. Steffy has already given Hope an ultimatum, and Hope might worry that her career at Hope for the Future is at risk. There’s also speculation that Hope might try to rekindle something with Liam just to throw Steffy off her scent.
Lastly, Brooke is trying hard to welcome Taylor back, but Taylor’s jealousy will come to the surface on Friday—not “steal your man” jealousy, but more of a “I wish I had love like that” kind of thing. With Ashley Jones back as Bridget, it’s clear they didn’t bring her back just to see a performance. There’s likely another medical drama heating up. I wonder if Bridget and Finn will pull off another miracle cure, like they did for Eric.
