The Young and the Restless

Young and the Restless 2-Week Spoilers Sep 30-Oct 11: Daniel Crushed & Sharon Stalks Next Victim

You’re reading to DrinkFood. Hey, Y&R fans, I’ve got your two-week spoilers for Monday, September 30th through Friday, October 11th. Daniel Romal is absolutely crushed, and Sharon Newman is busy stalking her next victim.

It’s Belinda from DrinkFood, and we’re going to dive into all the action coming these two weeks beginning on Monday, September 30th.

Sharon comes home on Monday with a cover story: she just needed to get away for a few days and tells Mariah and Nick that they were scrutinizing her and keeping such a close eye on her that it made her feel smothered. But she’s had a couple of days away, and she realizes she needs to get back on track. She already contacted her doctor and says that she spent some time at Cassie’s grave, talking to her late daughter about the darkness inside her. However, Sharon is definitely not confessing to the killing.

Meanwhile, Daniel and Lucy return home on Monday, only to find Heather missing. Lucy notices an overnight bag is gone, and Daniel tries to text and call Heather. Once Sharon is alone, she sends a text to Daniel from Heather’s phone, claiming that Heather needs some time away due to all the stress with Sharon. Naturally, Daniel is very worried.

Speaking of Daniel, Phyllis is pressing Billy to rehire her son. She’s excited about them taking down Victor at Abbott Chancellor. Billy says he’ll consider the rehire, but he’s focused on defeating Victor. Phyllis asks Billy if he really wants to go to war or if he should accept Victoria’s offer to buy him out and stop. Billy, adamant about protecting Jill’s legacy, is ready to fight. Phyllis worries Billy is chasing thrills and will wind up humiliated if he loses to Victor, but Billy is confident, especially with Victoria possibly part of his strategy.

Elsewhere, Mariah grows suspicious of her mom, especially when Sharon’s phone has a different ringtone. Sharon lies, saying it’s an alert she set for her medication. After Nick and Mariah leave, Cameron is back in Sharon’s ear, reassuring her that everything will blow over and she won’t be caught for killing Heather. He then urges Sharon to focus on killing Daniel to achieve peace of mind.

Tuesday, October 1st
Victor grills Victoria about her loyalty to Billy Abbott. Though she tried to warn her ex-husband, Billy is so overconfident he won’t listen. Billy thinks he can use Victoria against Victor, and Victor believes he can use Victoria against Billy, setting her up as a pawn in their game.

Nate receives a mysterious message, and Kyle is busy trying to outmaneuver Audra at GLAAD. Both are vying for control, and things are about to get messy.

Wednesday, October 2nd
Victor confronts Kyle and Audra with a challenge, likely related to getting GLAAD to take down Jabot. Victor is juggling multiple vendettas. Meanwhile, Jack and Diane spend more time strategizing, but fans have grown weary of their lack of action. Hopefully, this time they’ll execute their plans.

The big spoiler for Wednesday? Daniel receives devastating news. Whether it’s a text from Heather’s phone breaking things off or confirmation that Heather’s body has been found, Daniel is about to be shattered.

Thursday, October 3rd
Sharon struggles to maintain normalcy, but she’s anything but normal. Cameron continues to push her towards darker deeds, while Phyllis confronts Sharon, suspecting something is wrong. Nick comforts Phyllis, likely over Daniel’s bad news, while Victor and Lily plot more strategy.

Friday, October 4th
This is the second episode of the new season, which kicked off on Thursday. Adam and Chelsea have a tense conversation after Adam walks in on her with Billy at Crimson Lights. As Billy leaves, Adam tries tough love on Chelsea, but it’s unclear how she’ll respond.

Meanwhile, Daniel grapples with his new reality as a single dad, whether it’s because Heather is dead or just gone. Billy and Sally share a conversation, reflecting on their past struggles, as they try to find a path forward.

The second week (October 7th through 11th) will see more of Daniel’s issues and Sharon stalking another victim. Daniel and Lucy are stunned by the events surrounding Heather’s disappearance, though no official confirmation has come from CBS, Y&R, or Vail Bloom about Heather’s fate. This leaves fans wondering if Heather is dead or alive.

Billy and Sally’s friendship continues to grow, and it’ll be interesting to see how Chelsea and Adam react. Phyllis holds Sharon responsible for Daniel’s misery and won’t back down. Sharon is unraveling, but she’s trying her best to keep her family from noticing. However, more people than ever are watching her, as Cameron keeps pushing her toward more murders.

Victor plans to use Lily against Billy, but Jill’s return soon could mean another ally for Billy. Audra retaliates against Kyle after his moves from the previous week, and Phyllis has a standalone episode on October 18th to celebrate Michelle Stafford’s 30th anniversary. The showrunner promises shocking events that will further connect Sharon to Daniel’s family, including Phyllis. The tension between Sharon and Phyllis will reach a boiling point, leading to an unexpected twist.
