You’re reading to DrinkFood! Hey Days of Our Lives fans, I’ve got your early weekly spoilers for October 7th through the 11th. Kristen is going to make Xander a devilish offer—one of those offers you can’t refuse. We’re going to dive into that.
It’s Belinda from DrinkFood, and as we always do on early edition day, we start with the action coming the rest of this week, beginning on Wednesday, October 2nd.
Fiona has a talk with her daughter-in-law, Sarah, because she knows 100% that Sarah lied about remembering Brady behind the wheel. Fiona knows, because she was the one behind the wheel. During their conversation, Fiona is supposed to make a confession, possibly the same one she made to Xander and Maggie—that she slept with Brady—or it could be something new, like admitting she was in the car with him or that she fell off the wagon. But it’s not the big confession she should be making.
Brady has been arrested again and is hauled into the Salem Police Department. On Wednesday, his son, Tate, stops by to visit. I’m wondering if Tate suspects that Holly had a hand in Brady’s arrest, after he caught her in his dad’s room. Of course, it was Sarah’s testimony, not anything Holly did. We’ll see how much Tate tells Brady and if he’s still angry with Holly. Later, Kristen DiMera visits Brady, but he just tells her to stop trying to save him. Last time, she had his car crushed so no physical evidence survived, but now there’s nothing she can do.
Xander is enraged at Eric. We see Xander busy at his office at Titan Industries, where he still has that gun he got from the henchman for the fake suicide plan with Brady. Eric stops by, and the two really get into it. I’m sure Eric is defending Brady, while Xander is furious. Brady already told Eric that Xander was ready to beat him with a baseball bat, so Eric is likely there to warn him off.
Kristen and EJ start bickering at the mansion. She’s mad that DA DiMera is happily pressing charges against Brady now that Sarah falsely confirmed he was behind the wheel the night she was struck by the car. Meanwhile, Sophia and Holly get into a catfight over Tate. Sophia kisses Tate and taunts Holly, saying she can’t wait to have him in her bed. Holly slaps her, and this teen drama spills over into the next day.
Meanwhile, Dr. Rolf pops up at the DiMera mansion, and Kristen catches him skulking around. It’s perfect timing, as she needs a miracle to save Brady.
On Thursday, October 3rd, Sophia comforts Tate after things worsen between him and Holly. Eric advises Holly to go see her mom, Nicole, and talk everything through. Kristen sees an opportunity with Rolf and likely asks him to use his miracle skills to cure Sarah’s paralysis. Rolf has done miraculous things before, saving Megan and helping her achieve her twisted goals, so Kristen will try to leverage his talents again.
Maggie appeals to Xander to stop targeting Brady, but Xander doesn’t seem ready to give up his vendetta just yet. Marina visits Brady at lockup and asks if he still loves Kristen.
On Friday, October 4th, it’s Cliffhanger Friday. Rafe spends time with his sister, Gabi, offering her sympathy. Stefan wants to hold their marriage together, but things don’t look promising. Also, Julie tells Chad it’s time to tell the kids their mother is alive. Chad, still grieving, is hesitant, but “fake” Abigail is alarmed. She’s conning Chad by pretending to be his dead wife, and now she has to keep up the act in front of the kids.
EJ tells Stefan he’s going to sue him for defamation. He’s fed up with the threats and is willing to go to court to shut his brother down. Fake Abby updates her brother, Dr. Mark Green, on how her con with Chad is going.
On Monday, October 7th, Stefan and Gabi make a decision about their marriage. Tuesday, October 8th, Alex and Stephanie have a charged moment, indicating things aren’t over between them.
By Wednesday, October 9th, Xander tells Sarah about Kristen’s offer. Kristen wants Xander to leave Brady alone and has proposed a deal—if Rolf can restore Sarah’s legs, she’ll help Brady get out of jail. It’s a tempting offer. Meanwhile, Fiona is mustering up the courage to tell Brady the truth about the accident, but we’ll see if she chickens out again.
On Thursday, October 10th, EJ refuses to let Sarah withdraw her witness statement that Brady was behind the wheel. EJ, who hates Eric and is angry at Kristen, wants to punish them both.
Friday, October 11th, Eric and Sarah compare notes about Fiona, Brady, and everything that’s happened. On the same day, “fake” Abigail proposes to Chad, after receiving an ultimatum from Clyde. If she doesn’t get Chad’s ring on her finger soon, Clyde will kill their mother, whom he’s holding hostage. She desperately hopes Chad will say yes.
