Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Spoilers Oct 7-11: Carter Kisses Hope as Liam Flirts
You’re listening to Soap Dirt, the latest in television entertainment news. Hey B&B fans, I have got your weekly spoilers from Monday, October 7th all the way through Friday, October 11th. We’re going to see Carter kissing Hope and Liam flirting with her and kind of making a move.
It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt, and I’m excited to unpack all the action coming the week ahead for you, beginning with Monday, October 7th, 2024, which is Season 38, Episode 16. So in the promo, it looks like this scene is happening on Monday. Hope is ranting to Carter about wanting some guy out there that she doesn’t have to share with someone. She’s wondering, “Does that guy exist?” And it looks like Carter’s about to kiss her, and then guess what? He does! Carter and Hope share a really hot kiss, and it looks like it’s happening.
Will wants his big brother Liam as his wingman, and it is kind of awkward. Sounds like it’s “bring your big brother to work” day at Forrester Creations, although Liam is already there a lot. And of course, the wingman thing is because Will is lusting after all the hot models. That’s the only reason he even took the internship, and I think Liam is going to be surprised that Will landed at Forrester Creations instead of their dad’s business. There is another promo scene with Liam in the design office with Zende and Will, and he asks his brother, “What is he doing?”
Tuesday, October 8th is Season 38, Episode 17. Will tries to get Liam to see things from another perspective, and I’m wondering if this is about Liam grilling him about why he’s working at Forrester Creations. Generally, an internship is for no pay—not that Will needs the money—but Bill, I don’t think, is going to like this. He’s going to want Will over at Spencer Publications. And I do wonder if Will even talked to his dad. Bill, I mean. We didn’t see him talk to him because he agreed to it, and then Katie talked to Steffy about it, and then she agreed to hire him. There’s not been space in there to have a discussion with Bill, but I can’t imagine it’s going to go very well at all, considering how often Bill has mocked the fashion company and called Ridge the “dressmaker” and all that stuff. And now his son is going to be over there—so awkward.
Wednesday, October 9th is Episode 18 of Season 38. Ridge is really, really struggling to keep Taylor’s secret from Steffy. Now, Taylor is fighting this diagnosis of broken heart syndrome. She doesn’t want to believe it. And, you know, she had one appointment with one doctor in Europe—some sketchy dude, obviously—but she also didn’t show up for those follow-up tests, which is what Dr. Grace Buckingham was telling her would have confirmed a similar diagnosis with the other doctor. The problem was she didn’t get the tests. She never went to see a cardiologist, and now that she has, she’s in complete and total denial. Ridge is trying to get her to work through this. I mean, it’s good she’s not dying, but she also needs to accept the diagnosis and start getting herself better, which means less stress and stuff like that.
Hope and Liam have a discussion about Beth and how their relationship with Beth is where they are the strongest. This is a couple of episodes after Hope has kissed Carter, so it’s either going to happen Wednesday or Thursday, but it’s a scene from the promo with Liam telling Hope he misses her, and she’s kind of giving awkward side-eye. It almost sounds like he might be suggesting a reunion. Did Bill trying to get back with Katie inspire Liam to try and get back with his ex also? And yeah, it’s all pretty interesting.
Thursday, October 10th, 2024, Episode 19 of the current season. Liam makes Hope a surprise offer, so that’s why I think there’s a chance that that scene from the promo could be happening on Thursday. And I wonder if the surprise offer is “let’s try again.” Maybe with Thomas being gone, not even on the same continent, and engaged to another woman, Liam has finally been able to let it go that she kissed and slept with the man he hates most in the world. I really hope that she doesn’t take him up on this because she was just telling Carter the same thing she told Thomas: she wants a one-woman man, and that’s not Liam. The only issue right now is just that Steffy’s off the table because she’s happily married.
Meanwhile, Carter keeps it a secret from Ridge and Brooke that he has this brand-new romance brewing with her daughter, Hope. That’s probably a good idea to keep it secret, at least for now. But I’m betting that Brooke will be happy that she’s seeing anybody but Finn—and actually, anybody but Thomas. Ridge is a good friend of Carter, so we’ll see. I think they will endorse it once they find out.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Ridge have a heartfelt talk on Thursday about sharing her diagnosis. You know, originally Ridge had promised not to tell Steffy or Thomas or anybody that she was dying, and now that it’s kind of this embarrassing condition, as far as Taylor is concerned, with broken heart syndrome, you know she was upset with Ridge, saying this should feed his ego—like not being with him is causing her heart condition. She doesn’t want him to tell Brooke or anybody, but he feels like she needs to share so she can work through it. But again—so embarrassing, right?
Friday, October 11th is Episode 20 of Season 38. Ridge tells Taylor he has a way to help her heal—something soothing and reflective. And in the promo, there’s a scene of Ridge saying to Taylor he has a surprise that he thinks will help her. So, I don’t know. I mean, it seems like she needs massage or aromatherapy time, not with Ridge since he’s the source of her stress.
Meanwhile, Carter and Hope share another steamy kiss, and I just wonder if Hope might actually entertain dating both Liam and Carter so that she’s on the better side of a love triangle. I mean, Liam hasn’t had anybody around. However, he is going to be actively pursued by Ivy Forrester when she is back in like a week and a half. It’s not too long before she’s back.
And then an undated couple of spoilers: Brooke spends some time over at the Forrester mansion chatting with Eric Forrester, and I’m sure that Taylor is going to come up as a topic of conversation. They’re both glad that she’s back. Brooke is being very nice about this, and Hope is too, honestly, even though Steffy keeps being a little pushy and provocative about the whole “my dad will always love my mom” stuff. She sounds like an eight-year-old who wants her parents back together. And then there’s a scene of Brooke hanging out with Ridge at the office, and then another scene coming up next week with Finn and Steffy canoodling at the beach house.
So, we’ll see. And I’m sure again she’s going to be talking about how happy her mom is to have her dad back in town.
Thank you for being a loyal listener.
