Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers Oct 14-18: Jill Returns to Slap Billy Hard!
You’re listening to Soap Dirt, the latest in television entertainment news. Hey, YR fans! I’ve got your weekly spoilers for Monday, October 14th, all the way through Friday, October 18th.
Jill Abbott is back to slap her son Billy Abbott really hard, and boy, does he have it coming. It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt—let’s dive into everything coming next week, starting with the action on Monday, October 14th, which is Season 52, Episode 8.
So, Nate’s back in town. He tells Audrey he missed her. She catches him up on her drama, telling him Victor fired her. She didn’t want advice and didn’t want to bug him while he was out of town. He offers support, not advice, and of course, she’s mad. She lost what she considered basically her consolation prize for years spent with Tucker. Then, Nate and Audrey make love after their conversation.
Lily talks to Devon and tells him the awful, ugly truth. He was right. Nikki confessed that she was never going to get the CEO job. Her attitude is that at least Billy looked her in the eye, while Victor went behind her back, doing her dirty. Lily doesn’t want Billy, Victor, or Nikki to have Abbott Chancellor, and Devon says, “Just stop it, come back to Hamilton-Winters.” But she plans to hit back at Billy and Victor both, saying they won’t see it coming. She makes a call to Jill Abbott and tells her Billy is destroying Chancellor, fired her, and hired Phyllis. This sets Jill off, who wishes she knew sooner. She says she’s going to make it right because Billy is out of control.
Nikki talks to Victor and admits that she told Lily the truth, which Victor expected. Somehow, this is all part of his plan, and he thinks this will ruin Billy. Likely, he’s expecting Jill to come back and do this, and maybe he’s got some kind of plan in place to deal with Jill.
Jack and Diane are scrambling, talking to their lawyers about getting an injunction against Glad over the stolen product. Jack and Diane are fighting about Kyle again. Diane goes to talk to Michael and admits her marriage is in trouble because Kyle stole from Jabot, and Jack is blaming her. Victor shows up and talks trash, saying Diane’s back for money and power, and that she’s going to lose everything. Diane calls him a soul-sucker and leaves. Victor tells Michael he’s so happy their marriage is ending and that Jabot is falling apart. Victor is gloating just like Kyle did about Audra getting fired. They are birds of a feather.
Billy and Sally have a run-in in the park, and of course, Chelsea and Adam walk by. Everything’s awkward. Chadam is talking about Connor. Chelsea’s being very nice, complimenting Sally’s new line at Maretti. Billy says, once they’re gone, to Sally, that they should have seen this cheating coming a mile ahead, and neither of them thinks they want to get back with their ex. Billy’s still kind of struggling to let go of his feelings for Chelsea. He asks Sally to come give him some advice on decorating his new place. She agrees—that should be interesting.
Adam sees Jack at Crimson Lights and asks if he’s okay. They talk about how hard it is to be a dad, and Jack tells him Connor is going to be okay, but it seems like it’s too late for Kyle. Adam is all smiles for Chelsea—that reunion seems on track, whether you like it or not.
Tuesday, October 15th is Season 52, Episode 9. Phyllis takes charge. She is eavesdropping on someone at Abbott-Chancellor, and it might be Jill with Billy, because Jill is back in person on Tuesday. She has an ultimatum for Billy. Of course, she’s going to be furious that he fired Lily and hired Phyllis. And knowing Phyllis, you know she’ll jump right into the middle of a conversation that she shouldn’t be part of.
Meanwhile, Sharon is giving Nick mixed signals. They are sitting at a picnic in the park. There’s champagne and all this stuff, and if I have to guess, Nick’s not the one who set up this picnic. It’s Sharon, who has this whole romance with him in her head, going on that Nick knows nothing about. It’s like her internal dialogue already has them reunited, even though Cameron keeps telling her to calm down.
Wednesday, October 16th is Episode 10 of the current season. Jack gets together with Audra to do some conspiring. Audra confirms for Jack everything he suspects—that, yes, Victor is the one manipulating Kyle to do what he’s done. Victor was the money man behind Glad, even though she brokered the deal. Victor paid for it and lured Kyle over. Victor gets Adam involved in his plot to get revenge on Billy. Adam has no love lost for Billy and has promised his dad he would do what he wanted, as long as he wasn’t targeting Jabot. However, Adam doesn’t want to upset Chelsea, who still has feelings for Billy. It’ll be interesting to see what Victor asks his son to do and how far Adam is willing to go.
Chance finds compelling evidence—looks like he gets that warrant and goes back to search Daniel’s place. He finds the evidence: Sharon planted the phone, the keys, the bloody rags.
Thursday, October 17th is Episode 11. Tensions are high between Jack and Diane, of course, and it’s always about Kyle and Victor. Victor may be breaking this marriage apart. Jack will likely catch her up on what Audra told him. Diane’s going to say, “See, I told you we can’t trust our son,” and Jack will want to think Kyle’s redeemed. Diane seems to be taking more of a tough-love stance.
Meanwhile, Daniel is in a compromising position. He looks like a suspect because of the evidence found, but he has very clear alibis for the time of death—he was with Lily all evening and into the night when the text from the phone came in. He had no motive and no history of domestic violence with Heather. Sharon’s the one threatening the family, so we’ll see how long she can get away with it. Also on Thursday, Kyle makes a very risky deal with Victor—just one more deal, because he keeps doing risky things for this man.
Friday, October 18th is Season 52, Episode 12. It’s Michelle Stafford’s standalone 30th-anniversary episode as Phyllis Summers. She’s going to be spending time with Lucy, telling her life story. Expect lots of flashbacks.
One last spoiler that is undated: we have Faith comforting a crying Lucy at Crimson Lights.
