It’s time for some family tea and fun! The Young and the Restless fame Johsua Morrow and his son Crew spill the details about working on different CBS soaps. But that’s not all since the uncanny resemblance between the duo has been turning heads. Crew just joined B&B as Will Spencer, while Joshua has been nailing Nick Newman’s part for ages! Now, they’re sharing stories about following in each other’s footsteps and how it feels to be in the same industry. Check it out below!
Joshua and Crew Reveal Exciting Crossover Buzz
The father-son duo that has captivated the hearts of millions of soap fans had a fun chat with Entertainment Tonight. The Young and the Restless heartthrob and his son couldn’t help but laugh about their similarities. Crew kicked things off, saying, “Hey ET, I’m Crew Morrow on the set of Bold and the Beautiful.” Joshua chimed in, pointing to Crew, “And I’m his father, his real father.”
Yep folks, Don Diamont is not Crew’s real father, y’all understand? Meanwhile, Joshua, who’s been with Y&R since 1994, is itching for a future crossover with B&B. He added, “It’s never happened, but I’m hoping that this is…finally my path.” After all, crossovers between the two shows aren’t unheard of, right? We’d love to see this father-son team light up the screen together!
As for Crew following in his dad’s soap star footsteps, Joshua couldn’t be prouder. However, he does admit the soap world isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Despite this, Morrow senior believes in Crew’s determination and praises his single-minded focus. The man always knew his son would kill it! Next, Crew shares the advice his dad gave him.
The young lad spills, ” He tells me to be confident, have faith in yourself, and walk in with some swag.” Looks like that advice is paying off! Furthermore, Heather Tom (B&B’s Katie) and Don Diamont (B&B’s Bill) also weighed in. Tom recalled playing Joshua’s sister on Y&R and remembering when Crew was born.
“I remember when Crew was born! So it does feel very much full circle,” she shared. Diamont joked about how similar Crew and Joshua’s voices and sense of humor are. In a fun twist, Heather was dumbfounded by Crew’s striking similarity to Joshua when they first started working. Morrow junior joked, “I was like, ‘Oh man, not that ugly guy.”
