Y&R’s Eric Braeden Gives High Praise to Former TV Son and ‘Tracker’ Star, Justin Hartley
When the icon of The Young and the Restless speaks, you listen! Now, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) took to his account on X following Sunday night’s episode of Tracker starring his former on-screen son Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman).
Hartley played the black sheep of the Newman clan from 2014-2016, before departing for NBC’s This Is Us and a six-season run on the hit drama. Following that, he began his journey with the series Tracker including being not only its star, but as one of its executive producer. Tracker is now in its sophomore season on CBS
Sunday’s episode featured Justin as Colter Shaw who along with his brother, Russell, played by soap vet, Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric, Days of our Lives) are in a race against time when Colter disappears during his search for a missing father.
Immediately following its airing on CBS, Braeden took to X and gave Hartley and his series the highest praise, even comparing Hartley to some of the great American giants of acting. Eric expressed, “Watched JUSTIN HARTLEY on “TRACKER” tonight! Loved the show! No wonder the show is so damn successful! I couldn’t stop watching!”
Adding on the qualities that make Hartley authentic to watch, Eric shared, “Justin is a very good actor, very convincing, very strong!!he has what all AMERICAN STARS from JIMMY STEWART, JOHN Wayne, James ARNESS, etc, had, namely, a basic decency and integrity and strength! He simply is BELIEVABLE!”
