Heartbreaking Update Today! Jon Lindstrom’s Reveals Deep Pain Over Tragic Loss!
We wanted to take a moment to send General Hospital’s Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) our deepest condolences.
The ABC soap vet took to social media to announce some very sad news and shared, “Mr. Peanut has gone to meet his maker.” A beautiful photo of his sweet boy accompanied his post, as Lindstrom reflected on their life together.
“Those of you who know me well know how close this little man and I were,” the actor stated then went on to express how bonded they were, “right at the heart bone,” and how loyal they were to one another “through thick and thin.”
Lindstrom shared that he made a promise to Mr. Peanut when we was just a wee little one at six weeks old, a promise that “he would never suffer. That his life would be full of joy and that he would always know he was loved.” And he made good on that throughout Mr. Peanut’s life right up until the end.
“Anyone who tried to hurt this dog met my wrath and I’m not sorry one bit.”
And anyone who owns a pet and loves them like family would agree with Lindstrom.
“It was my honor and privilege to love this guy. I think he felt the same about me,” he continued and expressed how grateful he is to still feel the pup with him. “It is a kind of energetic proof to me that there is life beyond the body. Even for dogs. We do not become ‘nothing’. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.”
He also sent a message those who may be trying to reach out to him during this very difficult time. “If you call and I don’t pick up, please know… I’m just tired. It’s been a big week.” Those who follow the actor know that he’s been traveling as of late and ended up in New York City while flying from Nashville back to Los Angeles.
“If you think of it or care to, whisper a little ‘Good Boy’ to Mr. P… and to all the good boys and girls out there who share this planet with us,” he urged. “We are so lucky to live in a world filled with dogs.”
Just three days ago, Cady McClain, who Lindstrom had been married to since 2014, shared a post with their pup as well and stated, “Yesterday was a very beautiful day in NYC, and it was a day devoted to Mr. Peanut. I don’t know how many more days he will have (do any of us?) but darn if they won’t be full of all love he has given me.
And loved he was… That is very much evident.
Again, our condolences go out to Lindstrom and McClain.
