Taylor Confesses Her Feelings to Ridge — and Finn and Steffy Reconnect In the Bedroom
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge asks Taylor why she didn’t reach out to him in Monaco. She shrugs that she knew he wouldn’t have a minute to spare. Ridge tells her, “I will always make time for you.”
At Forrester, Donna tells Katie she’s been getting a lot of calls about Steffy’s kidnapping. They want quotes about Luna from people that worked with her. Katie and Brooke cluck that they won’t be getting any. They’re just glad that Steffy’s OK. Donna says, “Thanks to Finn. What a hero.”
At the cliff house, Steffy and Finn go over the kiss with Hope. He told her it was wrong and says the only woman he wants to kiss is his gorgeous, sexy wife. They make out.
Taking a break from kissing, Finn recaps that he almost lost her. Steffy reminds him he saved her. Finn worries what if he had been too late. She says he wasn’t. She’s there at home where she belongs thanks to him. She knew he would find her. Finn knew something was wrong. He’s never letting go of her again. Steffy and Finn talk about how much people have shown they care about her. What she really needs is him, “This. Real alone time.” When she was locked in the cage, she thought about him and the kids. She was so scared she would never see them again. Steffy would close her eyes and hear his voice telling her to hold on. She could feel his arms wrapped around her. Finn embraces her, “I got you.” He’ll never let her go again.
At Forrester, Katie says Finn was amazing, the way he tracked Steffy down. Brooke says she and Ridge could see how anxious he was. Donna observes that his gut told him something was wrong. That is true love. A bond like that can never be broken. If it is, they find their way back to each other. It reminds her of Brooke and Ridge, who have the same connection. Brooke beams.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge pushes Taylor to explain why she didn’t tell him she was in Monaco. Taylor replies, “You know the answer to that, Ridge.” She notes that Brooke wouldn’t have been happy. She knows Steffy missed the trip and is sure Brooke wasn’t upset about it. Ridge tells Taylor he would have been happy to run into her. Taylor says that Brooke would have thought she was stalking him. She’s missed them talking alone like this, “I miss you.”
At Forrester, Donna goes on about Steffy getting a sweet romantic ending. Brooke thinks it’s obvious how devoted Finn is to her. Donna says some couples find a way to get through anything. Katie smiles, “Like you and Eric?” She notes that not all of them have been lucky in love. She and Bill had some good times, but her sisters are in a good place with their men Brooke says she and Ridge have worked through their challenges. She’s with the man she’s meant to be with for the rest of her life.
Katie remembers Brooke and Ridge in the early days… she was in such awe of them. Donna says they still are. They gush that it’s a love that’s grown stronger over the years. Brooke reminds them it hasn’t always been waterfalls and roses. Katie thinks what they’ve built is an inspiration. Brooke thanks her sisters. She points out that Donna has a great relationship with her Honeybear, and Katie could have a future with Bill. She should never give up on the power of love. Especially one rich with history and memories.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor and Ridge think they get along pretty well for exes. Taylor muses, “A lot of good memories. Painful ones too.” They remember the heartbreak of losing Phoebe. Taylor tears up remembering their daughter’s beautiful voice and her light. Ridge holds onto those moments, every one of them. Sometimes her face goes out of focus, but then something will bring it back. He gets that when he’s around Kelly. Taylor says Steffy and Thomas are amazing parents. “I’m so grateful for everything we have.” Ridge hopes Taylor will stick around for a while now that she’s home.
At the cliff house, Steffy and Finn kiss, undress, and move to the bed to make passionate love to each other.
After sex, Finn tells Steffy, “You’re so beautiful.” She coos, “That’s how you make me feel.” Finn tells her she’s the best thing that ever happened to him. She’s the reason for everything he does. “I’m yours, OK? You never have to question that.” Steffy nods and smiles, “Your faith kept me alive. It really did. I’m here because of you. You brought me home. I love you… so much.” Finn whispers, “I love you too.” They kiss and cuddle.
At Forrester, Katie tells Brooke what she and Ridge have is so special. They discuss how they’ve overcome one obstacle more than once. Brooke nods, “Taylor.” She admits she’d have been worried in the past and looking over her shoulder. Katie says her sister could look over her shoulder for her. Brooke isn’t concerned any more. She has complete faith in her love with Ridge.
At the Forrester mansion, Ridge asks Taylor about putting down roots in Los Angeles. Steffy and the kids want her there. “I want you here.” Taylor smiles, “I know one person who doesn’t.” Ridge tells her Brooke knows how important she is to his family. Taylor is the glue that holds it together. Taylor has a question. She wants to know why he and Brooke haven’t remarried. Ridge says it’s come up, it’s just not something they’ve discussed. They’ve done it before. Taylor says, “So, it’s not necessary?” Ridge feels like he should be on a couch. Taylor’s not trying to analyze him. They’ve shared so much and helped shape each other. She won’t hide her feelings. “I always thought that we’d grow old together. You know how I feel about you, Ridge. How I’ll always feel. You’re the love of my life. You always will be.”
