Monday, October 21st, 2024:
We’ve got Carter and Hope still at his apartment. The candle is still going, his shirt is still off, and he tells her he’s been thinking about her for quite some time. They’ve invented some history for these two, have they not? He’s talking about her in Rome when she was still married to Liam, before she even got involved with Thomas, while he was still dating her aunt Katie! Do they think we forget this stuff? I can’t even! Anyway, he confesses his growing feelings for Hope and is definitely trying to get her into bed. She’s tapping the brakes. Maybe she’ll tap the gas? We’ll find out Monday.

Meanwhile, Brooke and Deacon continue their chat about Hope, her struggles at work, dealing with Steffy constantly targeting her, and of course, Brooke is very excited that Carter is on Team Hope for the Future and is trying to help her out. We’ll see how that goes by the end of the week. Steffy talks to Ridge about why Carter is suddenly so fired up about Hope for the Future. Before the last meeting, he seemed on board with cutting the line due to low sales. Now, all of a sudden, he’s done a 180 and wants to throw more resources at it. They’re questioning it, as they should.

Tuesday, October 22nd:
Brooke finds Hope daydreaming in the design office. I’m sure when Brooke interrupts her, she’s probably thinking, “Please don’t let her be thinking about Finn!” For a change, she’s not. I wonder if Hope will admit it’s Carter on her mind or if they’ll keep this blossoming romance on the down-low as long as possible.

Meanwhile, Carter has cooked up something and brings Ivy into the CEO office. This isn’t random—Carter invited Ivy to L.A. with her niece Electra, who designed a jewelry line. They’re here to pitch it to Steffy and the Forrester team, but Carter didn’t check with anyone first. This is all part of his master plan to benefit Hope for the Future. Again, Steffy’s wondering, why is this happening?

Wednesday, October 23rd:
Will talks to Brooke and Hope about all the beautiful women working at Forrester. It’s one of the reasons he took the internship, and Hope is certain any of them would be happy to have a catch like him. Then, he runs into Electra, and sparks fly. Meanwhile, Steffy isn’t thrilled with the jewelry designs that Electra and Ivy present. Her negative reaction really frustrates Carter. He’s going to take a drastic step based on how she behaves. He sees her as being controlling, punitive, and lashing out at Hope—things he’s heard from Hope herself, and he’s taking it to heart.

Thursday, October 24th:
Ivy is upset about the meeting with Steffy and runs to talk to her uncle, Eric Forrester. She tells him Steffy is going to ruin Forrester Creations because she can’t accept any new ideas. Eric loves Ivy—don’t forget, she was the only family member to attend his wedding to Quinn. Although that marriage didn’t last, Ivy has proven her loyalty to Eric. So, Eric might get riled up.

Steffy goes back to Ridge with more issues about Carter. She’s going to tell him Carter didn’t check with her or Ridge before bringing in the jewelry designers. Forrester hasn’t had a jewelry team since Quinn disappeared (because they didn’t give Rena Sofer a proper send-off!). Steffy and Ridge are trying to figure out what’s happening.

Friday, October 25th:
Carter goes to the executive team with a bold new vision—not just for Hope for the Future, but for all of Forrester Creations. It’s something bold, different, not business as usual. There’s going to be more Logans and Forresters at the meeting than just Ridge, Steffy, Carter, and Brooke. We might see Eric, Ivy, Hope, and others. There will be arguments, battle lines, and unexpected alliances.

The week of October 28th through November 1st brings a special Halloween episode centered around Sheila Carter and her smitten husband, Deacon Sharpe. Sheila is decorating Il Giardino all spooky, and on Thursday, October 31st—sweeps kickoff—Sheila’s going full witch mode. I wonder if she’s going to dress Deacon up too! Carter may stop by for pizza from Deacon, and by then, it could be public knowledge that Carter is dating Deacon’s daughter, Hope.

It’s a tough time to be a Forrester intern, but Will’s mind is on Electra, not boardroom politics and power plays. Once Steffy figures out Carter and Hope’s involvement, she may try to fire them both, claiming Carter is making risky and bad business decisions to benefit his new girlfriend. That’s one way to look at it, I guess.

More on Ridge and Taylor as she continues her healing journey, and more on Brooke, making it clear that Ridge is her man, and only her man. If Brooke were a labradoodle and Ridge was a fire hydrant, we all know what she’d be doing! Ivy is panting after Liam while simultaneously trying to take Steffy down a notch. I wonder at what point Liam will understand that when Hope says no, she means no. There’s nothing sexy about a man who can’t take no for an answer!

Meanwhile, Ivy would be happy to scream “yes, yes, yes” to Liam. Maybe that’s what he should settle for. Am I right?
