Bold and Beautiful Weekly Spoilers Oct 14-18: Brooke Explodes & Liam’s Slick Move
You’re listening to Soap Dirt, the latest in television entertainment news. Hey, B&B fans! I’ve got your full roster of weekly spoilers for Monday, October 14th through Friday, October 18th.
Brooke Logan is exploding, Liam is making a slick move, and Taylor is finally confessing to someone. It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt—let’s dive into all the action coming next week, starting on Monday, October 14th, Season 38, Episode 21.
On Friday, you saw Brooke peeking in the side of the door at Steffy’s place and seeing Ridge and Taylor staring into each other’s eyes. She did not see the chakra lady, and then she crept around to the back of the house and was looking in the kitchen window. From that angle, I guess everything looked worse, because Monday’s spoiler says Brooke totally misreads what she sees peeping through the windows at Steffy’s house with what’s going on between Ridge and Taylor.
Also on Monday, Steffy is in the design office as Carter and Hope break apart from another kiss. Steffy was looking for Carter, wondering where he was to talk to him about something, and immediately realizes what she interrupted. That turns into Hope and Steffy having an argument that’s getting very nasty. It’s ramping up, and Carter tries to get between them and calm them down. Steffy doesn’t like Hope kissing anybody, much less her husband.
Tuesday, October 15th is Season 38, Episode 22. After Ridge leaves, Brooke comes into the Malibu house and confronts Taylor. She accuses her of going after Ridge, and Brooke is saying, “I know what I saw!” Taylor defends herself, saying, “That’s what you thought you saw.” Brooke accuses her of sitting in Ridge’s lap, but unless they do more on Monday than we saw on Friday, that’s not what happened. They were just sitting knee to knee. And you know, I mean, I know the recast Taylor is a little nibblet, but she wasn’t up in his lap.
Meanwhile—and I’m not sure if this happens on Tuesday, it’s from the promo—but it sounds like Tuesday, based on Ridge’s outfit, he’s at Eric’s house. His dad asks, “What is going on with you and Taylor?” I think this is also on Tuesday—it’s from a promo photo, but based on the order of things, it’s Tuesday or Wednesday. Ridge and Brooke are at home, sitting on the bed. She’s in a robe, post-confrontation with Taylor, and Ridge is still in that same blue t-shirt. She looks quite shocked. I wonder if he’s going to open up and tell her the truth.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Taylor tells Steffy the truth about her broken heart syndrome diagnosis and her ongoing health issues. They’re having a big bonding moment over it, and I’m sure Taylor’s going to want to talk to Finn. I think Steffy will want to talk to Finn to find out more about Taylor’s diagnosis.
Wednesday, October 16th is Episode 23 of the current season. This is funny to me—Liam makes a video of Hope’s personal and professional milestones and accomplishments. Hope told him no on the reconciliation, but it seems like Liam’s not going to take no for an answer with this big gesture. I just wonder if he’s heard from Steffy at this point that she walked in on Carter and Hope kissing.
Here’s why I think this is so bizarre—Liam making this video reminds me of years ago, back in the Kim Matula days. Liam had asked Steffy for an annulment, not just an annulment but a quickie annulment because he wanted to get back with Hope. Steffy agreed, but she still wanted him. This was back in his huge Waffle King days. After asking for the annulment, Liam made a romantic video for Hope, and Steffy saw it. She asked Liam to make one for her, and he did—a tribute video about their relationship. Hope saw it and absolutely exploded.
Now, I don’t think that will happen here, but I wonder if, when Hope sees Liam’s video, it will bring up bad memories of him bouncing back and forth between her and Steffy. It should be interesting because, while it seems like a nice gesture, it may be a painful reminder of why she doesn’t want him back romantically.
Thursday, October 17th is Episode 24 of Season 38. Will Spencer has big news for his dad, Bill—it’s time to pay the piper. He’s got to tell Dollar Bill, “Oh, by the way, I took an internship at Forrester Creations.” Factually, Bill should be proud of him, because we all know Will only took that to chase models around. That’s something Bill should understand, given how much skirt he’s chased in his day. Liam is there at Bill’s office at Spencer Publications when Will breaks the news to their dad. Hopefully, he can calm Bill down. Maybe Bill will think it’s just a phase, but if Will sticks with it, Bill’s not going to like it because he doesn’t want Will to end up a “dressmaker,” as he likes to call Ridge.
Meanwhile, Carter makes a pitch for the failing Hope for the Future line to the people at Forrester Creations. I’m assuming Ridge, Brooke (since she’s part of the main team), and Steffy. It also sounds like it’s a pitch about Hope personally, which is interesting because Carter obviously has a vested interest in her now. I just hope he’s not doing anything unfair—like those numbers are accurate, not something he’s using to get closer to Hope.
We’re wrapping up the week on Bold and the Beautiful with Friday, October 18th, Season 38, Episode 25. Carter and Hope enjoy a romantic evening out together, and he’s all in his feelings. I swear, if that man proposes to Hope in the next two weeks, even the next six weeks, I’m going to throw something at my TV. He should know better than to propose prematurely, but we’ve seen it before.
One more undated spoiler: Brooke is at Il Giardino talking to Deacon. I think this comes later in the week, based on her outfit. This is a scene from the promo, and based on other spoilers, she tells him things are looking up for Hope. Deacon says, “I like to hear that.” Maybe this is after Carter makes his big pitch to try to help out the line. I’m hoping Brooke is supportive of this Carter-Hope thing instead of pushing Hope back toward Liam. We’ll see how it goes. Next week looks pretty good!
