General Hospital 2-Week Spoilers Sept 30-Oct 11: Sonny Bugs Carly & Sidwell Invades Port Charles
You’re reading to DrinkFood. Hey GH fans, I’ve got your two-week spoilers from Monday, September 30th through Friday, October 11th. Sunny is really irritating Carly, and Sidwell is ready to invade Port Charles.
It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt, and we’re going to dive into all the action coming these two weeks. But just real quick, as a reminder, we’ve only got three new episodes in this first week, from September 30th through October 4th, because Tuesday and Wednesday are preempted for the Major League Baseball Wild Card series. I don’t even know what it is, I just know I don’t want it knocking General Hospital off my DVR—but we get what we get, right?
Monday, September 30th:
We have Jason hand-delivering Lucky to General Hospital so he can get tested as soon as possible to see if he’s a viable liver donor for Lulu. He meets Porsha and Terry, and then Porsha hustles him off to get tested, telling him that Lulu’s condition is deteriorating, and they’re running out of time. Later that day, Lucky spends time sitting at his sister’s bedside, regretting not being there for her before now.
Mac has a conversation with Holly. He doesn’t believe her one bit—who can blame him? Brennan and Robert, the other Scorpio male in town, discuss Holly as well, with Brennan wondering how worried he should be about her. Remember, he didn’t know she was going to be on the plane, and he didn’t know who Sidwell’s mystery girlfriend is, so he’s definitely looking for some scoop, and Robert’s a good place to go since that’s his ex.
We have Nah and Curtis spending time together, and he wants to know what’s happening with Nah—and I’m assuming with Nah and Drew. Anna talks to Felicia about the mission she just got back from, saying it was more than she anticipated. I wonder if she’s going to tell Felicia about the hot kiss she shared with Jason when they thought they were about to die.
Carly wants answers, and I’m guessing she’s going to talk to Jason about Holly. Holly’s going to be a big topic of conversation on Monday’s episode. Elizabeth talks to Terry about Lucky’s return and what that means for her life and whether it’s a good or bad thing.
Tuesday, October 1st:
As I said, Major League Baseball Wild Card series preemption means there should just be baseball on the channel, not a rerun. The same goes for Wednesday, October 2nd—more baseball. If you’re a baseball fan, good for you. For me, I think it belongs on ESPN, and our soaps belong on ABC daytime.
Thursday, October 3rd:
Trina spends time with her mentor Ava Jerome and makes a confession. This could be about her missing Spencer and not being able to move on, but I think it’s more likely about her recent conversation with her mom, Porsha. Trina finds it strange the way Heather’s blood results came back—it just doesn’t make sense to her. And though Trina’s not a doctor, she can smell a rat. Porsha, her mom, violated her Hippocratic Oath to do what she did. She wants to be a good mom, but she’s breaking a lot of rules.
Elizabeth encourages someone to be cautious—I’m guessing it’s Aiden Webber. She probably wants him to be careful with Lucky or advises Lucky to be cautious with Aiden. She doesn’t want her son devastated when Lucky inevitably slides back out of town, based on his past behavior. Fans know that Jonathan Jackson is staying for a nice, long arc, so he’ll have time to get to know his son.
Porsha has questions for Brad, and I wonder if she’s feeling him out, trying to find out if he knows anything about that test she tampered with. Sam wants to clear things up—likely with Jason, who just got back to town, but it could be about Alexis or Carly’s dishonest alibi.
Molly visits her mom at Pentonville and challenges her. She wants Alexis to stop, tell the truth, and let the chips fall where they may for Kristina and Sunny. Alexis isn’t worried about Sunny, but she is worried about Kristina, so she’s not going to do it. This will galvanize Molly to take more action.
Friday, October 4th:
Trina has a disagreement with violin boy Gio, and Violet is behaving in a way that has Chase and BLQ very worried. Sunny spends time reassuring Carly, likely telling her not to worry about the alibi situation, but it’s not fine. Diane has been warning them for a reason.
Lucas Jones is back at General Hospital with a new actor in the role—it’s not Ryan Carnes anymore, it’s Van Hansis, whom you may know from As the World Turns. Ava has advice for Porsha, and I wonder if this stems from Trina’s confession the day before. As I said in my prediction edition, if Porsha is going to open up to anyone about tampering with that test, Ava is the perfect person. She won’t judge her or turn her in and might have good advice on how to avoid getting caught.
Second Week (October 7th-11th):
Let’s talk about Sunny rubbing Carly the wrong way and what Sidwell does next. First off, Kelly Monaco filmed her last episode this past Friday, September 27th, which means Sam’s death is going to air during November sweeps. I’ll drop a link to a standalone video with more details and commentary from her mother about how she feels about what’s been done to her daughter by the powers that be at General Hospital.
Next week, Carly is really regretting aiding and abetting Sunny by giving him an alibi. He approached her with urgency, and it was just emotional muscle memory for her—she’s been covering for him for so long that it’s her knee-jerk reaction. But it wasn’t a smart idea. Drew sacrificed himself so she wouldn’t have to go to prison, yet here she is putting herself at risk for Sunny, who has betrayed her so many times.
The problem is, she feels she can’t undo it, but she’s having deep regrets. Sunny, of course, is full of his “it’ll be fine, don’t worry about it” attitude, which is infuriating her. Diane already warned both Carly and Sunny that the cops and Feds are waiting for them to slip up, but what they don’t realize is that Martin and Molly are also watching, looking to tear apart their alibi to save Alexis.
Holly is back in Port Charles, but her conwoman ways could put many people at risk because Sidwell is in hot pursuit of the diamonds she stole, and when he gets to town, things are going to get messy. We’ll also see awkward vibes between Brad and his recast ex, Lucas. Is there hope for a reunion?
Porsha’s test rigging may come to light soon, but the question is, will it be Rick who catches her? Will she blame Brad as the more obvious suspect? I’m also wondering if we’ll see another Jason and Anna kiss. Is this starting something between them, or was that kiss a one-and-done?
And of course, everyone is counting on Lucky as the last chance to save Lulu’s life, but complications may arise that leave her loved ones shattered with worry.
