General Hospital Predictions: Sasha Cons Holly & Sam’s Ultimatum Before Dying
You’re listening to Soap Dirt, the latest in television entertainment news. Hey General Hospital fans, it’s time for our prediction edition! We’re going to talk about Sasha conning her mom, Holly, and Sam’s big ultimatum before she dies.
It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt, and we have predictions for Steph and Heather, for Sam, Jason, and Drew, for Sasha, Holly, and Cody, for Molly and Dex, and also for Sam herself. These predictions, as always, are based on promos, official ABC spoilers, and recent episode activity. If you haven’t, please click subscribe! Now, let’s dive in with our very first prediction: Is Steven Weber back to try and keep Heather behind bars?
Spoilers for Tuesday, October 22nd say Rick has news for Elizabeth, and it might be about those lab test discrepancies from GH compared to the independent labs. He is pretty certain that he might be able to get Heather out of prison! Really, what he wants is for her to stay behind bars but have a reduced sentence. But as he told Curtis, you know there’s a chance she might just get out.
Wednesday, October 23rd spoilers have Curtis promising Portia something, and it’s probably to protect the family and try to keep Heather behind bars. Thursday, October 24th, Steven Lars Weber is back! Scott Reeves has a short return. Same day, Curtis launches a plan. I just wonder: is Steven back to testify about the awful stuff that his mom, Heather, did pre-HIP implant? GH writers are trying to make us forget history; Heather has been a murderous psycho for a long time, long before her hip went bad and they put in a cobalt implant. You know, when she stabbed her son, she didn’t have a HIP implant. When she gave Olivia an overdose of LSD, she didn’t have a hip implant. She was a psycho long before he was even born! You know they’re trying to sell us a bill of goods. So, I just wonder if he is back. I wonder if Curtis contacted him to come back. I don’t know; kind of interesting.
Our second prediction: Sam hits both of her baby daddies with an ultimatum—man up and put your kids first for a change! By the way, Kelly Monaco just hit her milestone 3,000th episode, and her last day on the set was like four days shy of her 21st anniversary on the show. It’s just awful, and she’s not going to get many more episodes than that 3,000 because her death scene is coming soon. She should make it through this next week alive, but no guarantees past that.
Spoilers from Monday, October 21st say Sam will visit Drew and Jason separately. Jason tells her he’ll do exactly as she asks. So, here’s what I feel like she’s going to do: I think she’s going to tell both of them that if something happens to her, no matter what, their kids come first. Drew and Jason have both put Carly in front of their kids in the past. Drew ditched Scout to go to jail to protect Carly, and Jason spent years away from Danny and Jake to protect Carly. Sam does not want to go into surgery without some assurances. Every surgery has risks. She wants to know that she can trust these men with her children should something go wrong. Jason said he’ll do what she asks, but will he? Because he was just ready the other day to confess and go to prison to protect Sonny and Carly yet again, and it was Diane that talked him out of it. Is Jason even capable of being a decent dad and choosing his kids over Carly and Sonny and even their kids? He chooses their kids over his own. It’s awful. Is Drew capable of doing right? I mean, right now he’s not dating Carly, so maybe, but if it came down to Willow versus Scout, would he choose Willow? I mean, history says that he might.
Third prediction: Sasha steals from Holly and cons her mom on behalf of Cody or to benefit Cody. So, Sasha, as you saw last week, is furious that Holly lied all these years about who her dad is. She doesn’t want to believe it’s Robert. She’s furious that her mom ditched her with her grandma, who she loved, but you know her mom was always off running cons. Where was Holly when Sasha had a heart attack from drugs, was stalked by paparazzi, humiliated on TV, lost her baby, lost her husband?
The problem is the writers are doing such a huge retcon with this, but it’s just a lot. Whenever they do stuff like this, it just makes history so messy. So, anyway, Sasha’s head over heels for Cody and is desperately hoping Robert’s not her dad. He is! They’ll get confirmation next week. Monday, October 21st spoilers say Holly and Robert continue their talk that they began on Friday, and that same day Sasha vows to Maxie she won’t let Holly take Cody from her.
By Friday, October 25th, Sasha is talking to Nina about this mess, and also this week Holly’s looking for assistance on Wednesday. I think she may go to Sonny for help fencing the diamond she stole from Sidwell. I just wonder if Sasha is going to con her con-woman mom and take one or a few or all of the diamonds her mom stole so that Sasha can buy Cody that ranch Serenity. Because if Sasha can’t be with him because he’s her cousin, at least she can make one of Cody’s dreams come true. It’s better if Cody gets an animal sanctuary than Holly gets whatever she would spend the money on—handbags and shoes.
Our fourth prediction: Molly gets pregnant by Dex. We keep seeing Molly thrown into scenes with Dex, and I don’t think it’s for nothing. There was that late night at the bar where Molly and Dex were drinking and talking. She came home really late, didn’t get into bed with TJ, and slept on the couch. She and Dex had another run-in at Bobby’s Diner and then a scene this past week with Molly and Dex in court. I find it all very suspicious. We have several Molly scenes and spoilers this week—her confronting her dad, I’m guessing about him getting Kristina to make a public scene, and Dex and Joss have a date night. I do think that Molly and Dex did something, and that’s why they keep throwing them in together. I just wonder if she’s going to turn up pregnant. The character has endometriosis, which is capable of causing extreme fertility problems, but it doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get pregnant. So, we’ll see.
Our fifth and final prediction: Sam seems fine after the liver donor surgery but then dies suddenly post-op. Do you guys remember when Nathan West died several years ago? You know, Faison shot his own son, and Nathan went through surgery. He came out of it fine and was telling Maxie he loved her, can’t wait to live his life with her, and then he just died—just like that, bam, gone! I just wonder if we’re going to get something like that with Sam.
But it won’t be of natural causes like it was with Nathan; it may appear that way. So, I shared a leak the other day. To be clear, not confirmed spoilers, but the leak was reposted and seemingly kind of endorsed by someone with ties to the show, so that gave it a little bit of legitimacy but again, not confirmation. The leak said that Cyrus will be involved with Sam’s death.
I’ll post a link to the video I did at the end of this one. So, spoilers for Monday the 21st: Sam sees Drew and Jason about the kids. Thursday the 24th, it’s time for surgery. Loved ones of Sam and Lulu gather at GH. Friday the 25th, Alexis waits on an update about Sam.
So, the leak, not a spoiler, but the leak unconfirmed: Cyrus is supposedly going to inject Sam’s IV with digitalis, which is a heart medication after the surgery. This is a substance that would go undetected in a standard autopsy but would easily kill her—a substance he could get his hands on if one of the people Cyrus visits and prays with has a heart condition. So the question is, why would Cyrus do this?
Well, I think first of all that he was the one that unplugged Lulu’s ventilator, playing God because he thought he would give Lulu peace and give Laura peace instead of letting her slowly die when there was no donor turning up. So now that a donor has turned up, in his twisted mind, I think Cyrus thinks that killing Sam gets her out of the way so Lulu can go back to her old life with the man she loves, which is Dante. We’ll see how it goes!
