The Bold and the Beautiful is casting a new young leading lady. With the seeming exit of Luna (played by Lisa Yamada) who got carted off to prison and possibly a mental institution, that leaves a current hole in the younger set on the CBS daytime drama series.
According to a report from TV Insider, BOLD is casting the role of Brittany. She is described as, “18-20 years old and a leading lady.” The show is looking for an actress of any mixed ethnicity, and the character is said to be, “fashionable, poised, beautiful, confident, playful, energetic, and assertive.”
Previously, it was Luna who was positioned to be the young heroine on the show and was very much in a relationship with R.J. Forrester. However, Zende Forrester, also took a liking to her. In the original storypoint, Luna after having some drinks at a Forrester gathering was popping a few of her mother, Poppy’s “magic” mints, unwittingly. Later it was revealed mixed with booze they can alter your mood and be somewhat of a hallucinogen.

In turn, Luna wound up in Zende’s bed and the two hit the sheets, although at the time she thought she was sleeping with R.J. However after Luna’s character turn, we found out she knowingly had sex with Zende, and knew exactly what she was doing.
With Katie and Bill’s son, Will Spencer on the canvas in the SORAS’d form and now played by Y&R’s Joshua Morrow’s son, Crew Morrow, the incoming love interest could also be potentially for him.
