The Bold and the Beautiful and CBS Confirms New Younger Leading Lady Has Been Cast: But Who Will Be Her Love Interest?
In an update to a previous item, CBS is confirming that The Bold and the Beautiful had already cast its new younger leading lady that will take that spot from the seemingly-exited Lisa Yamanda (ex-Luna). In story, Luna was arrested for the double murders of Tom and Hollis and the kidnapping of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), among a few other crimes.
With several young men on the B&B canvas, one can only assume that the new young ingenue will be a potential love interest for one of them including Crew Morrow (Will), Joshua Hoffman (RJ) and Delon de Metz (Zende).
According to US Weekly, “The actress has already been cast — but her identity and details about her character are still under wraps.” Previously, the series sent out a casting breakdown looking for a young woman of “any mixed ethnicity, fashionable, poised, beautiful, confident, playful, energetic, and assertive.” The age ranged noted was between 18 and 20.
Previously, the character’s name as supposedly Brittany, but as producers and casting directors do in the soaps, 9/10 times those are not the real character names to protect the integrity of an upcoming storyline. According to US Weekly sources at CBS, the character is NOT going by the name of Brittany.
Tanner Novlan (Finn, B&B) recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest about a potential Luna return down the line, where originally the character was suspect of being her father, while he currently is her cousin.
Novlan shared, “What’s so fun about playing Finn is that he’s (a newer character and)he’s not beholden to any past storylines or stuff like that,” adding, “you never know (where the story is going).”
