The Bold and The Beautiful Hints Childhood Trauma As Luna’s Tipping Point, Bill Saves “Almost” Daughter On Same Grounds
Luna Nozawa’s killer turn was perhaps the most interesting and shocking thing we have seen in a long time on The Bold and The Beautiful. She came in as a perfect young girl, but the transformation she showed was jaw-dropping. Unfortunately, her stint as a villain came to a close rather rapidly. However, we are still pondering over what could have made Luna go so dark at such a young age.
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers reveal that after getting exposed she pinned the whole blame of her actions on her mother, Poppy Nozawa. Luna claimed that she had an extremely hard childhood. There was no stability, no resources, in fact, there were times when there wasn’t even enough food on the table.
Luna’s explanation reeked with resentment towards her mother. It is so clear that the youngster blamed her mother for not providing her with a stable home and a nurturing childhood. She cried that Poppy moved from man to man all her life and was never an actual mother to her. She even went to the extent of ripping into her aunt Li for never coming to her rescue.
It is clear that Luna craved for love, attention, care, and nurturing all her life. A past like that making a dent in a person’s mental health is not unheard of. So, that does justify her resentment toward her mother. However, it does not justify the crimes she committed. That was her own doing, her own choices.
Interestingly, even Katie pointed the same to Poppy in a recent episode. When Poppy blamed herself for Luna’s actions, Katie reminded her that Luna made those choices on her own, and Poppy could not be blamed for it. All that beings aid, this is the soapverse, and a lot of the real-world logic and rules do not really apply here.
After all, murderous Sheila Carter is still walking free right? So, it won’t be all that shocking if the makers find a way to set Luna free. Especially when Lisa Yamada has proven herself as literal soap gold as Luna! Thus, there is a chance that Bill Spencer will give in to the soft corner that he has for Luna, and hire some shady but successful lawyer to get her out.
The lawyer may use her childhood trauma as a basis for getting her out on some sort of a deal, like treatment. Honetsly, we won’t be complaining because Luna is the best thing to happen on B&B in a long time!
