The character’s marriage to rock singer Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) was a major storyline, full of ups and downs. It included Danny leaving Christine for Phyllis Summers.
He thought Phyllis was pregnant with his child. Additionally, this rivalry between Christine and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has remained a central part of the show. She later married investigator Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), though their first marriage ended after five years. The duo stayed close for twelve years and remarried during Katherine Chancellor’s funeral.
Recently, Bell’s character even crossed over into The Bold and the Beautiful for a special storyline. Christine and Danny were invited to Los Angeles to celebrate the relaunch of Brooke’s Bedroom. However, there was more to the story, as Brooke and Ridge had other plans for the iconic pair. Yep, it involved a new business venture.
The man behind this exciting crossover was Lauralee’s brother, Bradley Bell. He is the executive producer and head writer for B&B. It’s no surprise that Lauralee continues to make waves in the soap world with her dynamic portrayal of Christine. Furthermore, she even earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
