Tragic Update!! GH’ Star Kirsten Storms’ Shocking Injury Revealed in Terrifying Accident Photo!”
Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. General Hospital star Kirsten Storms horrified her fans this week with a photo posted on social media. In the photo, she stood facing the camera in a black and white shot, and she had what looked like a horrible black eye as she looked seriously at the camera. She said it happened when a coffee canister exploded in her face. Here is what happened and why the photo is not as it seems.
Kirsten Storms Tells Story of Coffee Canister Incident
General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) took to Instagram to show fans a horrific photo that she took following an accident with a coffee canister. She had what appeared to be a terrible black eye in the photo. However, she wrote that it was a “funny but not funny story,” making it seem not as bad as it looked.
Kirsten said she has opened several canisters of coffee tins over her life; however, for the first time, one exploded out of the container into her face. “I can say with certainty that I prefer my coffee brewed in hot water or over ice,” she wrote. “Straight from the container doesn’t taste that good.” She then finished by saying there was a warning label on the lid. That’s when it struck home that she didn’t have a black eye—the black marks around her eye were coffee grounds. It was a traumatic moment for sure, but it wasn’t as bad as the photo made it look.
Her fans chimed in as well in the comments:
“Being there with flour, you win for originality.”
“Damn, that coffee is strong, maybe too strong.”
“I thought you were made up for a fight scene on GH.”
“Naughty coffee girl, thought you got in a fight.”
“The reality is, you got in a fight with a coffee can.”
Kirsten Storms Shares Much in Common with Maurice Benard
It is nice to see Kirsten Storms having fun with this embarrassing moment because she has recently explained to fans about a mental health diagnosis that helped change her life for the better. She was speaking to Maurice Benard on his podcast State of Mind two years ago and admitted that she received the same diagnosis he did—both suffered from bipolar disorder and both needed the diagnosis to understand what was happening and fix it.
“I experience anxiety frequently. I have bipolar one,” Kirsten said at the time. “I easily get frantic about things. I felt flustered, fear, and stressed.” However, after her diagnosis and medication, she said, “My life literally just changed. I felt like a normal person.”
